Manurewa Youth Council
Empowers rangatahi to lead, connect, and speak up through events, advocacy, and community action.
About us
The Manurewa Youth Council strives to connect, support and empower rangatahi to be actively involved in the Manurewa community. We develop and present submissions to the Manurewa Local Board, Auckland Council and the Government on issues relevant to young people. We encourages young people to be more confident and willing to display leadership. The Manurewa Youth Council organises engaging projects and events, encouraging youth participation in civic and community activities.

Nathan Allan
Long long ago, in an ancient village across the beaches of Manurewa, a young life form was born. His name was Nathan, 15, and he went to the education center of Manurewa High School. One day, him and his father went to a myc submissions event. It was at this moment that he realised that he wanted to join this council. A wise man once said, "roast chicken can not be consumed without gravy" 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯😐😐😐 Yoo so I'm Nathan, I'm currently 15 years old and go to rewa high. I found out about MYC through going to one of their events. I joined the council to make friends and meet new people. Advice I'd give to youth in rewa: PE teachers aren't as cool as they think they are.💯💯💯
